Penske Transportation Solutions has been selected as one of Military.com’s Veteran Employment Project Top 25 Employers for Veterans 2024.

Over the last several years, approximately 9% of Penske’s annual new hires have been veterans. The company currently employs more than 3,000 individuals who self-identify as veterans – a figure that has more than doubled since 2019.
Penske is proud to show its support for veterans, active service members and their families through robust partnerships with the U.S. Army Partnership for Your Success program, Troops into Transportation, Hiring Our Heroes, ESGR, G.I. Jobs, Paralyzed Veterans of America and Support Military Families, among others. Penske has also recently been recognized as a gold tier 2024 Military-Friendly Employer by VIQTORY, publisher of the G.I. Jobs and Military Spouse publications, and highlighted as a veteran-friendly employer in USA Today’s special 2023 Veterans Day publication.

Penske dedicates several tools and programs to support the hiring of military veterans, including a formal military driver apprenticeship program and a fellowship program for logistics operations managers. In 2022, Penske launched its Veterans Business Resource Group, with chapters across the nation and nearly 2,500 members.
