Today, Penske Truck Rental donated $255,157 to the Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA). The donation benefits PVA's Mission: ABLE campaign. This mid-campaign donation is part of Penske’s year-long fundraising effort for the Paralyzed Veterans of America called #OneWay4PVA, which began Memorial Day 2013 and continues through Memorial Day 2014. This weekend, the No. 12 Penske Truck Rental Ford Mustang will make another NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) appearance in the Zippo 200 race at Watkins Glen International. Penske Racing Driver Sam Hornish, Jr. will drive the iconic yellow car that will again feature the hashtag: #OneWay4PVA calling attention to Penske Truck Rental’s year-long fundraising effort to benefit the Paralyzed Veterans of America’s (PVA) Mission: ABLE program.
Penske Racing NASCAR driver Sam Hornish Jr., will pilot the No. 12 Penske Truck Rental Ford Mustang in a pair of Nationwide Series races in August, to help Penske Truck Rental support their campaign with the Paralyzed Veterans of America. Hornish will compete on August 3 and August 10 with the Twitter hashtag #OneWay4PVA on the car’s rear bumper.
