Each year at a moment’s notice, thousands in the National Guard and Reserves answer the call to serve on the frontlines in conflict zones abroad as well as in times of state and national emergencies at home.
The call to serve came early for Tyler Bell, who was eager to follow the footsteps of his grandfather and cousin into military service.
Penske Truck Leasing recently received the Eagle Head Plaque award from the Pennsylvania Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR).
The call to deploy was an all-too-familiar one for Ken Berkley, one that would see him trade his role as a Penske Logistics load planner in Ohio for one as a Navy Reserves transportation specialist in Bahrain.

Penske Branch Service Manager Gerard “Gerry” Pelsak recently received the Patriot Award from the Department of Defense’s Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) for his support of an associate serving in the Army National Guard.
