Penske Gains Entry to Inbound Logistics Magazine G75 Green Supply Chain Partners List

Penske has earned placement on this year’s 75 Green Supply Chain Partners list by Inbound Logistics magazine. Editors selected companies “going above and beyond to prioritize green initiatives and help global supply chains become more sustainable. These companies are dedicated to developing and implementing best practices that leave a positive footprint on the world.”

The Reading, Pennsylvania-based corporation has been moving forward on a host of sustainable efforts, including registering a strong presence at the annual Advanced Clean Transportation (ACT) Expo in California, speaking at the National Retail Federation’s Supply Chain 360 event, and adding battery-electric trucks and EV charging solutions to an industry-leading transportation fleet.

Penske Logistics’ dedicated contract carriage fleet has garnered multiple U.S. EPA SmartWay Excellence awards for its clean transportation efforts.

The publication also noted Penske’s waste reduction efforts, and carbon footprint reduction programs in its truck leasing and refrigerated warehouse operations.
