Penske Opens Truck Collision Repair Center in Fairless Hills, PA

Penske Truck Leasing has opened its second Pennsylvaniatruck collision repair center, and 18th in North America, in the Philadelphia suburb of Fairless Hills. The center does collision, box and trailer repairs, complete vehicle refinishing, and frame and alignment work for commercial trucks and vehicles.

The 14,000-square-foot building is placed on four acres and utilizes light fixtures that reduce energy use by 50 percent. The address is 225 Newbold Road. Hours are Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, please call 215-971-2020.

The structure contains a high-efficiency paint spray booth that greatly filters emissions. This booth employs smart technology that minimizes energy and fuel consumption, housing a high-tech air filtration system.

Penske is expected to hire nine new associates – six technicians and three administrative positions.

“The facility serves the needs of Penske’s truck fleet and contract customers, as well as commercial truck fleets,” said James Svaasand, Penske’s vice president of collision repair.

“Prior to opening this location, Penske vehicles, and those of our customers, were being serviced from our repair centers in Reading, Pennsylvania, and East Hartford, Connecticut,” said Jack Gallagher, senior vice president – northeast region, Penske Truck Leasing. “We’re now in the perfect position to attain new business in the Philadelphia and metro New York areas.”
