Penske Renews Top Sponsorship of Annual Women In Trucking Conference

Penske Transportation Solutions is proud to once again be a Diamond Sponsor of the Women In Trucking Association's (WIT) Accelerate! Conference & Expo. The conference will take place Nov. 7-9 in Dallas, Texas.


During the conference, Penske will be highlighted for its third consecutive recognition on WIT's list of Top Companies for Women to Work for in Transportation. On Monday, Nov. 10, Erica Manento, vice president of human resources operations, will join executives from companies on the listing as moderator of the panel "The Corporate Culture Factor: Productivity and Longevity for Women in the Workplace." Nikita Rhodes, vice president for diversity and inclusion at Penske, will share remarks at the Top Companies Recognition Program later that evening.

Penske is a Gold Level Partner of WIT, supporting the non-profit organization's mission to empower more women in the transportation industry. Jennifer Sockel, executive vice president, talent and enterprise services at Penske serves on the WIT Board of Directors.

Since joining the organization in 2014, Penske has actively participated in the association as a corporate member. Through its ongoing sponsorship of WIT and several of its key initiatives, Penske continues to affirm its strong commitment to advancing gender diversity in the industry.
