Tips for Your College Move

Heading back to college? Penskehttps://www.pensketruckrental.com/ offers college students 10 percent off on all truck rentals, along with free unlimited miles on one-way rentals.

Here are some tips to start the school year off right:

Confirm Move-in Dates: Students should first check with their college, university or landlord to confirm move-in dates and dimensions of your dorm room or apartment. Knowing that information will help you decide the best rental truck size and reservation dates.

Pick the Right Truck: How do you know what size truck to rent? Penske makes it easy with an online truck wizard tool. We also offer helpful moving advisors who can help with selecting the perfect truck for your move.

Reserve in Advance: Do your research, because pricing is all about availability. As it gets closer to the day of pickup, there will be fewer trucks available, and that will make the prices higher. Most colleges and universities start within the same two weeks at the end of August and beginning of September. Reserve in advance for the best possible deal.

Call to Verify Reservation: Students should call to verify their reservation a week before pickup and remember to bring two forms of identification – a driver’s license and the credit or debit card used for payment – as well as their student identification in order to receive the student discount.

Study Hard: Lastly, don’t forget to hit the books. Good luck!

Penske Truck Rental offers new, well-maintained, reliable trucks; and 24/7 roadside assistance. There are more than 2,300 convenient truck rental locations to choose from.

College students are eligible for a 10 percent discount. Just present your college ID at pickup.
