What’s Happening in the Auto Sector? CAR MBS Knows.

Penske Logistics, a leading provider of automotive logistics and supply chain solutions, will once again be among the top sponsors of The Center for Automotive Research Management Briefing Seminars (CAR MBS) held July 31 through August 3 in Traverse City, Michigan.

The four-day event features a series of seminars focused on the future of the global automotive industry. Executive management from automakers and suppliers along with representatives from the financial community, academia, labor, government, and the business and automotive press will be in attendance.

“We’re excited to be back at CAR MBS,” said Joe Carlier senior vice president of global sales at Penske Logistics. “Significant changes are happening in the auto sector. These changes will have implications for how supply chains and logistics networks continue to deliver the value automakers and automotive suppliers need. This event really provides insight into where the industry is headed in the near- and long-term.”

Penske is sponsoring the sales forecast session: “The North American Market: Sales and Production Footprint” August 1 from 8 a.m. to noon. Speakers include representatives from DENSO International America, Inc., Eaton Vehicle Group, Original Equipment Suppliers Association (OESA), UBS, IHS Markit, and LMC Automotive.
