Penske Logistics is Repeat Quest for Quality Award Winner
For the second straight yearPenske Logistics is a recipient of the Quest for Quality award given by Logistics Management magazine. Late last month as part of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) annual global conference in San Antonio, Penske was honored in the 3PL: value added warehousing and distribution solutions category at a stand-alone gala event.
“Winning a Quest for Quality award is a significant accomplishment for our company,” stated Terry Miller, Penske’s executive vice president. “It is very humbling to be recognized as an industry leader.”
The magazine received nearly 7,500 total responses within the industry. As a third-party logistics provider, Penske was judged in five areas: carrier selection and negotiation; order fulfillment; transportation and distribution; inventory management; and logistics information systems.
