Penske Truck Leasing Opens Facility in Bridgeport, N.J.
READING, Pa., November 15, 2006 - Penske Truck Leasing today celebrated the grand opening of a new facility in Bridgeport, N.J., located on 508 Heron Drive. The 15,500 square-foot state-of-the-art facility, employing 20 associates, offers commercial and consumer truck rental services, full-service truck leasing and contract maintenance. About 30 leasing customers are handled at this location, and nearly 650 vehicles are maintained on this 11-acre site.
The one-story building incorporates Penske Truck Leasing's new facility design elements, and features state-of-the-art technology, to enhance the customer experience.
Penske moved its truck leasing operations from a site in Mickleton earlier this year.
The facility cost approximately $5.2 million to construct, and has four service bays, a truck washing bay and a two-lane fuel island. The wireless technology component allows Penske service technicians to integrate various vehicle diagnostic and repair software.

The service department, available at 856-241-2036, is open Monday through Thursday from 6:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, and from 3:30 p.m. to midnight on Sunday. The rental department, which can be reached at 856-241-8608, is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and is closed on the weekends.
