As Americans continue to relocate across the country, new consumer research from Penske Truck Rental highlights how different generations are approaching moving, settling in and choosing where to call home.
Insights from Penske’s latest Settling In survey found that younger generations reported moving more frequently, while consumers across age groups cited factors such as recreation, climate, convenience and community as influences in relocation decisions.
The findings also revealed an interesting balance in preferences. Many respondents expressed interest in locations with access to restaurants, entertainment and activities, while a similar percentage said they value quieter communities and a slower pace of life.
