Penske Logistics Ranked Eighth Among Top 100 3PL Providers By Inbound Logistics Magazine

READING, Pa., August 8, 2006 - Penske Logistics today announced that Inbound Logistics magazine ranked the company eighth among its list of their Top 100 3PL Providers for 2006. To determine this year's ranking, the industry trade publication evaluated questionnaires, conducted research and solicited reader feedback on more than 500 companies.

"It is a great honor to be recognized by Inbound Logistics as one of the top companies providing 3PL services around the world," said Vince Hartnett, president, Penske Logistics. "On behalf of the company and all of our customers, I would like to thank each and every one of our associates for their hard work and unwavering dedication to providing innovative logistics solutions and superior customer service."

"One key driver that we evaluate is how well a logistics partner enables innovation and growth for its customers," said Felecia Stratton, editor, Inbound Logistics. "It is becoming increasingly important for a logistics partner to act as a business change agent, driving their customers' ability to grow, innovate and compete. That is what Penske Logistics does, and why we are happy to recognize the company as a 2006 Top 100 3PL."

Selecting the annual Top 100 3PL providers is no small task, given the pace of change and the number of new entrants in the global outsourcing market. Inbound Logistics editors whittled this year's list from more than 500 companies to provide a balanced and accurate assessment of their readers' needs and the 3PLs they believe are best suited to meet their specific requirements.
