Ruprich Named Managing Director for Penske Logistics Europe

READING, Pa., March 3, 2011 - Today, Penske Logistics announced that Brian Ruprich has been named its new Managing Director of Europe. Ruprich now leads Penske's supply chain and logistics operations as well as its business development efforts in Europe.


Ruprich has 20 years of experience in supply chain management and logistics. Over the last decade he has served Penske in a variety of operational leadership roles in North America and Europe. He has been Operations Director for Penske Logistics Europe since 2009. Prior to joining Penske in 2000, Ruprich worked for UPS, Yellow Freight and Ryder System, Inc.

Ruprich holds a degree in criminal justice from Macomb College and currently resides in Rotterdam, The Netherlands with his wife and children.

Ruprich replaces Penske's former Managing Director Erik van Egmond who left the organization to pursue other interests on March 1.
